Wasim Akram a former Pakistani cricketer gets married early last week with a girl name Shaniera Thompson.She belongs to Melbourne, Austrailia. Shaniera wrote on her facebook status about that news. Wasim akram said to media that he and shaniera married in Lahore last week, His kids are comfortable with shaniera and she loves them alot.He also said tha Shaniera embraced Islam and she is learning urdu as well.
Wasim Akram's first wife Huma was died in september 2009 due to failure of many organs of her body.
Wasim, who is 47, proposed to Misss Thompson who is 30, via PR consultant from Brighton, last month.
Pakistani media said Waseem and Misss Thompson went Lahore to meet the cricket legend's feeble father, where the marriage was celebrated.
In July 2013 Miss Thompson told the Herald Sun she has embraced Islam, and she would call Pakistan as her homeland.
Couple met in Melbourne (Austrailia) in 2011 and Wasim said he was glad he had found great lover.
"I never thought I would get married again, but I am lucky and very happy to find love again," he said.
"It just goes to show that life can give you a second chance."
Akram has two son from Huma, aged 15 and 12.
Wasim also said Shaniera Thompson "has been close to my sons and they form a very good bond".
